Şirketten yapılan yazılı açıklamada, “İlkleri gerçekleştirmeye devam eden Aksungur, azami uçuş yüksekliğini milli motorla birlikte aştı. TEI tarafından üretilen TEI-PD170 motorlarıyla birlikte havalanan Aksungur, 2 saat 30 dakikalık uçuşunda 30 bin feet’lik yüksekliğe ulaştı. Aksungur böylece, milli imkanlarla üretilen motorla birlikte bir başarıya daha imza attı” denildi.

Şirketin ayrıca, Aksungur’un yerli motorla 40 bin feet’lik yükseklikte uçmasını hedeflediği belirtildi.
