Ünsal YÜCEL/ EDİRNE, (DHA)- AVUSTURYALI Monuel Titton (21), Türk arkadaşının daveti üzerine geldiği Edirne’nin İpsala ilçesinde bir süre vakit geçirdikten sonra İslamiyet’i seçerek Müslüman olup, Yusuf Evren ismini aldı.
Avusturya vatandaşı Monuel Titton, arkadaşı Erkan Düz’ün daveti üzerine İpsala ilçesine bağlı İbriktepe köyüne geldi. Bir süre burada vakit geçiren ve arkadaşından etkilenen Titton, Müslüman olmak istediğini belirterek, İpsala İlçe Müftülüğü’ne başvurdu. Titton, İlçe Müftüsü Ahmet Bayraktar’ın katıldığı ihtida töreniyle, Yusuf Evren ismini alarak Müslüman oldu. Bayraktar, Evren’i tebrik ederek, kendisine ihtida belgesi verdi. İslam dininin temel esasları hakkında bilgi verilen Yusuf Evren’e, Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı yayınları hediye edildi. İslamiyet’i seçtiği için mutlu olduğunu belirten Yusuf Evren, Müslüman olmayı gönülden istediğini, heyecanlı ve mutlu olduğunu söyledi. (DHA)
