Görme engelli Kırat’ı itfaiyeci olma hayalini AFAD gerçekleştirdi

Olgay GÜLER/EDİRNE, (DHA)- EDİRNE’de yaşayan görme engelli Sergülent Kırat’ın(47), itfaiyeci olma hayalini İl Afet ve Acil Durum Müdürlüğü (AFAD) gerçekleştirdi.

Edirne Özel Yürekler Halk Eğitimi Merkezi’nde eğitim gören görme ve hafif düzeyde zihinsel engelli olan Sergülent Kırat, öğretmenlere yıllardır itfaiye aracına binme hayali olduğunu belirterek, yardımcı olmalarını istedi. İsteğinin bildirildiği AFAD İl Müdürlüğü, harekete geçerek, Kırat’ı merkezden alarak Edirne Belediyesi İtfaiye Müdürlüğü’ne götürdü. İtfaiyecilerin karşıladığı Kırat’a itfaiye eri kıyafeti giydirilip, senaryo gereği yangın ihbarına giden araca bindirildi. Siren sesleri arasında yangın mahalline götürülen Kırat, burada hortumla su sıkarak, yıllardır süren hayalini gerçekleştirdi. İtfaiye erleriyle fotoğraf çektiren Kırat, hayalini gerçekleştiren AFAD ekiplerine de teşekkür etti. (DHA)
